This course is designed for anyone interested in joining the exciting insurance adjusting industry as a licensed Texas insurance adjuster. It teaches students insurance concepts and terms and prepares them with a thorough understanding of the insurance claims settlement process.

Students are exposed to all the popular and current insuring documents, including the ISO standard homeowner policies and the Texas HO-A, HO-B and HO-C forms. It covers Workers’ Compensation insurance, Ocean and Inland Marine, Csommercial Lines and the Texas Personal Auto Policy (PAP).

Important emphasis is given to adjuster responsibilities, practices and duties and thoroughly covers the TDI requirements for ethics.

Students will get training on the industry’s most popular estimating program, Xactimate and will leave the course proficient enough in its use that they will immediately be able to use it to estimate claims.

At the completion of the pre-licensing module, the student will be tested on his or her knowledge of the presented material. Passing this test exempts the student from taking the TDI offered exam and immediately qualifies them for a Texas All Lines License application.

Special Features

Students will practice adjusting scenarios in order to hone their estimate writing skills, write sample reports and load photos into those reports in a manner that meets industry standards and expectations.
